It wasn't just embarrassing and disgraceful, it was bad for business.

Apparently you don't know what a neocon is. I'd advise you to read up a bit before posting.

The accusation against Sonecipher was that he was having an affair with a female executive and that he had arranged promotions and pay raises for her. The Boeing board investigated and found that Sonecipher indeed had an affair with the executive, but it was completely consensual and he had not arranged any promotions or pay raises for her. The board nonetheless decided that this affair reflected badly on Boeing, probably because it appeared to other employees that the CEO was giving promotions and pay raises to his mistress, even though he was not.

Sonecipher obviously violated the sixth commandment, but he didn’t really do anything illegal, although it may have appeared like it was to other people at Boeing. I think the Boeing board is trying to be squeaky clean. I heard one business show commentator say that he thought Boeing would now have a hard time filling the CEO position. When asked if setting up a listing section for "EXECUTIVES SEEKING EXECUTIVES" was an appropriate action for a company that had just gone through the ethical ringer, Mr. Platt snarled and tried to swallow the reporter's microphone.

So, what was the ad? Well, as best as can be reconstructed, it said:

"MWM Executive, spry 68, well heeled, in current relationship of 50 years which has had some stress (entirely of my own making) seeking a mutually enriching,
